The Meeting Rooms
Phil's Event Center features two meeting rooms to accommodate business meetings and social functions alike. Phil's Event Center features state of the art audio visual equipment including wireless internet connections, ceiling mounted LCD projector with drop-down screen, flat screen LCD TVs, CD players, Satellite Radio, Video-conferencing capabilities, and microphones. Tables and chairs are included in the room rental rate and are setup according to your specifications. Plus, our team of meeting professionals will ensure flawless execution of your event from the time of booking to the conclusion of service.
The Food
For the past twelve years, BBQ lovers across San Diego County have turned to restaurateur Phil Pace to satisfy a singular craving: mouth-watering mesquite grilled ribs, chicken, beef and sandwiches. You can now enjoy Phil's award winning barbecue in a private, full-service setting. Breakfast, snacks, and assorted beverages are also available for all-day meetings.
The Location
Equipped with tons of free parking and centrally located in beautiful Point Loma, Phil's Event Center is close to all freeways, near downtown and a stones throw from Lindbergh Field. Plenty of hotels and great shopping options are also nearby. Other points of interest within 5 miles of Phil's Event Center include Sea World, Fashion Valley Mall, Mission Bay Park, Beaches, Presidio Park and Old Town.
The Service
Two levels of service are offered for all events. Standard (Get up!) service includes a beautiful buffet packed full of Phil's BBQ and sides, bussing, and self-service beverages. Enhanced (Sit down!) service includes plated entrees served tableside, water and tea service and dessert services. Full service liquor, beer and wine bars are available.

- Rentals, decor, and other design options.
The Low Down
Special Rates may apply on Holidays. A 72 hour guarantee is required. Once a booking has been scheduled, a 50% deposit of the room rental charge is non-refundable and non-transferable. Certain dates and events may require full payment of the rental fee to secure the venue and date.
