Phil’s BBQ will open a location inside Petco’s Park at the Park on April 9
SAN DIEGO, CA—Padres fans will now have access to San Diego’s favorite BBQ when they attend games at Petco Park. Phil’s BBQ will open a location on Padres Opening Day, Tuesday, April 9. We will be located in the Park at the Park, next to the Showley Bros. Candy Factory building.
Phil’s BBQ will offer fan-addicts their Broham (pulled pork) sandwich, El Toro (tri-tip) sandwich, and Baby Back Ribs (4 ribs). All items will be sold with a side of Phil’s cole slaw. "We’ve loved working with the Padres on a variety of events over the past few years, so becoming the official BBQ of the San Diego Padres is a great honor for our restaurant," said Phil’s BBQ owner Phil Pace. "We’re looking forward to the chance to build a long-standing partnership with the Padres organization and their fans."
In addition to Phil’s BBQ being inside the park all season long, they will be bringing their biggest charity event of the year back to Petco Park on Monday, June 24.
For $25, guests can fill up on Phil’s mesquite-grilled chicken and ribs plus two sides, a Coca-Cola beverage, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and get a ticket to the 7:05 p.m. Padres vs. Phillies game. There will also be a Karl Strauss beer garden, music and Kid Ventures Kids Zone on-site. For $50, VIP ticket purchasers will receive all of the above plus two Karl Strauss beers, and preferential line and seating treatment at the tailgate. The event will take place from 4:30-7:00 p.m. in Petco Tailgate Park. 100% of ticket sales go directly to the Operation Bigs program.
